Breakdown Verse:
Understanding what the Nutrition Facts Label includes can
help you make smart food choices which in turn helps you maintain a
healthy body
The top section of the
label displays the serving size measurement,
the number of servings per container and the calorie
information. Be sure to note the calories that
are from fat.
The middle section
highlights
the food’s nutrient components
The label show both the amount and the percent of recommended
daily values
of the nutrients the food contains
You'll want to get one hundred
percent
of the recommended daily values of Fiber, Vitamins
A, B, C, D and E
Along with other important minerals such as calcium,
potassium and iron
And you'll want to limit the
amount of calories, fat, sugar and salt you
consume each day
Remember all of the nutrition information on the label are
(gr) based on one serving.
So if you plan to eat or drink more than one serving you'll have to
multiply to know the actual calories and nutrients you are consuming
