The Disease is Contagious- It’s a Respiratory Illness – You Don’t Want Influenza Virus
It Can Make You sick and kill you Man

Breakdown 1
Every year Five to 20% of Americans get the FLU 200,000 people are hospitalized, 36,000 die

Verse 1
Headache, muscle aches, stomach aches and body shakes, Coughing, fever, sore throat, runny and stuffy nose
The elderly and the children are at risk – We should all get vaccinated o prevent the FLU

Step number two – Stop the germs Yo!
And if you’re coughing and sneezing cover your mouth and nose.  
Wash your hands all through the day and if you see FLU people stay away
And if you’re sick  - then that means you – stay home from work stay home from school
Don’t spread the FLU cause that ain’t right – Limit that FLU to yourself all right

Please help spread the word so that most of us - know that FLU disease is serious
And vaccination is something most of us can do – That’s the best way to prevent the FLU

Flu season can begin as early as October and last as late as May. 
That’s why October or November is the best time to get vaccinated,
but you can still get vaccinated in December and even later.
In general, anyone who wants to reduce their chances of getting the flu can and should get vaccinated.  
 It doesn’t just protect you; it protects all the people around you.

And that’s important because some people are at high risk for serious complications from the FLU including
children from 6 months until their 5th birthday, pregnant women, people over 50, and people with certain chronic medical conditions.  .

Also check with you doctor to see if he or she recommends the use of a Nasal Spray Flu Vaccine
or antiviral medication which can be 70% to 90% effective in preventing infection from influenza.
